A Funny Taxi Ride...

Hmm. I stayed over at Heather's last night after the party... I played with the kittens (and got allergies... lol), had a long talk with her and fought with her computer's internet.

This morning (afternoon?) I went home by cab, cuz I realized I had forgotten my bus pass... Argh! (I could have just bought a ticket, but it's so annoying...) So I took a cab on Dr.Penfield St. The guy was a Canadian-English who didn't speak French very well... but who had a Quebecois-French accent when he spoke English! He kept sputtering (postilloner?)... so much that every word he pronounced, I could see a fountain of water coming out of his mouth!! He told me many stories about Haitians and Asians whom he thought were really bad drivers.... He went on and on and it was hilarious!!

On the way home, I saw a church with a sign saying "Les gens voient ce que nous faisons, mais Dieu sait pourquoi nous le faisons." (People see what we do, but God knows why we do it) Then I thought that basically it meant, that we can just start burning people and killing them and stuff like that and be justified by saying "you and the other people don't get it, but God will understand"... I can't understand why a church would promote such a message.... Isn't it weird? Well it sure doesn't make me feel like becoming Christian...
