G.O.A.L
Yesterday, I went out for lunch with my friends from Koryo Univ. Then, Nacho and I (Nacho is a Korean big brother whom I met in Spain a few years ago) watched a movie "Once". It's an Irish movie with a lot of good songs. Not the conventional story and nice music... I liked it!
In the evening, I went to meet a friend of a friend. Her name is Myriam and she was adopted just like me. She grew up in France and now she's back in Korea for an internship with the G.O.A.L (Global Oversea Adoptees Link) association. This group was created by adoptees for adoptees and provides different services such as the search for the adoptee's birth parents, Korean tutoring courses, Visa obtention and such other things.
The president of the association, Daewon Wenger, talked to me briefly about what G.O.A.L does and about the scholarship and internship opportunities it offers to adoptees who come back to Korea. I gotta admit that it was somewhat exciting to think about it and I might be interested in going back in a few years and work for them.
How is everyone back home and everywhere else? I miss you guys.
I'll be in Japan in 4 days! :D
